Abolition of Mandatory Covid-19 PCR before Entering Korea

From 00:00 September 3, all Koreans and foreigners arriving in Korea by plane or ship are not obliged to submit PCR negative confirmation certificate. However, you still need to get a PCR done within 1 week from the day of entrance.

1) From September 9 to 12, a toll fee on all of the nation’s highways is exempt. Eating and drinking at the rest area and on the bus/train is allowed. 

2) Additional Temporary Screening Clinics are open at 9 rest areas on the highways in Gyeonggi, Gyeongnam and Jeonnam province. 

    Anyone can have a free PCR test at the rest area during the holidays. 

3) 24-hour emergency response system with the help of Busan City·Public Health Centers·Emergency Medical Institutes during Chuseok.
