The Korean government expanded the supply targets of public masks to eliminate blind spots in health care for foreigners.

As of Apr 20, registered foreigners(including those who reported their residence) can purchase the public masks at vendors such as pharmacies nationwide if they present ARC, permanent residence card or residence report card.

Previously, it was necessary to have a national health insurance card but from now on, foreigners can purchase it with ID card only.(regardless of whether you have the national health insurance or not)

*Note*

1. People without ID card and illegal aliens cannot purchase the public masks.

2. People who buy the masks in another’s name without permission are subject to  criminal punishment.

3. Proxy purchase is unavailable.
