Ministry of Employment and Labor copes with “concerns about the spread of coronavirus” as follows.

1. Civil affairs related to the employment permit system can be processed without visit to an employment center.

◈ Use internet[www.eps.go.kr], fax, landline instead of visit

◈ Use telephone counseling for general affairs

2. Grace period will be given to foreign workers expected to enter Korea.

3. Job seeking period of foreign workers with special case of reentry will be extended for 50 days.

4. Civil affairs related to the employment permit system can be processed without visit to an employment center.

◈ Extension of job seeking period for foreign workers who apply for the change of a workplace

◈ Refrain from regional travel as much as possible
