[Acquisition of eligibility]

- Any foreigner or overseas Korean who has stayed in Korea for over six months

- Date of acquisition

1. The date of arrival: Student(D-2), General training-elementary, middle, high school students(D-4-3), Non-professional employment(E-9), Permanent resident(F-5), Marriage immigration(F-6)

2. The date of registration: When foreigner registration was late than the date of entry

*A(Diplomacy), B(Tourism), C(Short term), G-1(Others) visas are excluded. However, G-1-6(Permission to stay on humanitarian ground) and G-1-12(family of G-1-6) are eligible for.

3. The date of admission: If a student on F-4(overseas Korean) visa submits a certificate of enrollment

[Loss of eligibility]

- When acquiring the nationality of the Republic of Korea

- When staying abroad over 1 month

- In the event of death

- In case of acquiring as the employed insured or dependent

- In case that a compulsory deportation order is issued

- In case that period of stay is over
