(1).jpg "KakaoTalk_20220602_095749163(1)(1).jpg") (1).jpg "KakaoTalk_20220602_095752216(1)(1).jpg") On May 31, at the Busan Port International Exhibition & Convention Center(BPEX) held the inauguration ceremony of the 「2030 Busan World EXPO Hosting Support Private Committee」. ’Busan Expo Private Committee’ is an official partner of the government bid committee under the Prime Minister's office, which will be established in June. 11 companies, including Samsung Electronics, Hyundai Motors, SK, LG, Lotte, POSCO, Hanwha, GS, Hyundai Heavy Industries, Shinsegae, and CJ, will support the EXPO. In the large event attended by key figures of the New Government and Corporate Executives, "EXPO Friends" participated on behalf of Korea and Busan. Busan(Korea), Rome(Italy), and Riyadh(Saudi Arabia) are competing to host the 2030 World EXPO, and the host city will be decided by a vote of 170 members of the Bureau International Des Expositions(BIE) next November. At the 170th BIE General Assembly in Paris on the 22nd of this month, the announcement of the second competition PT for the 2030 Expo candidate countries will be made.
